Let's be specific about
who this is built for.

  • You have an idea, but you don't know the steps to bring it to life.
  • The business still depends entirely on you. If you stop, it stops.
  • You're doing the work and still can't get a lender or an investor to say yes, and nobody has told you exactly which numbers they check.
  • You're losing customers to competitors who are no better than you are, and you know the difference is distribution, not quality.
  • Your cash flow is inconsistent enough that you can't plan a hire, a lease, or a launch with any confidence.
  • You're building past a single paycheck — a side business, a practice, a clientele, two or three things at once — and you're ready to run it like an operator.
  • You've been in rooms before. They moved you. Now you want the one that changes Monday.

The thesis

Why this room exists.

Small businesses are 44% of U.S. GDP and take under 2% of venture capital.

That gap isn't a charity problem. It's a market inefficiency, and the fastest-growing segment of American business is sitting on the wrong side of it. Good Soil Forum exists to close the distance between builders and the capital, customers, and systems that grow businesses. Proximity is the mechanism. The room is the product.

The three-day arc

Discover. Build. Commit.

Thursday, Oct 8

You discover.

Seven concurrent rooms, four of them diagnostics, each built to end the same way: you name the one constraint doing the most damage to your business. It is usually not the one you walked in worried about.

Friday, Oct 9

You build.

The rooms stop diagnosing and start installing. You build the thing in the room, on your numbers, with the person who does it for a living standing over your shoulder.

Saturday, Oct 10

You commit.

Finals, the check, and then the session where you write instead of listen. You leave with your own ninety-day plan, drafted alongside people working through the same questions.

The landing block

Here is what
you take home.

Not a notebook of ideas. Specific things, made in the room, on your numbers.

A constraint named. One sentence about what is actually holding the business back, and evidence for why it is that one.
A thirteen-week cash forecast.Your figures, so you can see the month the pressure arrives.
A working build.Something that runs when you get home.
A price you can defend.Tested against how buyers and investors actually value a business like yours.
A tax position you understand. What the current one costs you, and what to do instead.
A ninety-second version of your businessthat survives a stranger's first question.
A dated 90-day planwith your first move due inside two weeks.

You will leave with the three or four that match the rooms you chose.

Four tracks · how to choose your rooms

Pick the rooms that
close your gaps.

You build your own schedule. Every breakout is open to every pass. The four tracks just tell you what each room is for, so you can choose by the gap you actually have rather than by a lane someone put you in. Take one from each track or spend the three days inside one.

Track 01 · Clarity · Thursday

Clarity

"Am I the constraint?"
Bottleneck DiagnosticFacilitated, not taught. You leave with your actual constraint named and the evidence for why it is the one.
Is Your Price the Constraint?Your price is a claim about what your business is worth, and most founders have never tested the claim.
Sales Conversations That CloseThe gap is rarely the pitch. It is the conversation before it. Real call review and live role-play.
Tax Strategy for FoundersBring your real numbers and find out what your current tax position is costing you this year.
Leave with: the one constraint named, in writing
Track 02 · Clients

Clients

"How do I build a predictable revenue engine?"
The Audience You OwnRented audience is a cost. Owned audience is an asset. Three operators break down what they own and what it earns.
AI for Content and MarketingVolume is not the problem. Consistency at a standard is. Build a system you can run every week without adding headcount.
Own the Asset: Trademark + BrandYour name and your mark are either assets or exposure. What to file, when, and what it costs to defend.
Leave with: a working engine and a mark you own
Track 03 · Capital + Cash

Capital + Cash

"Am I structurally ready for capital?"
Cash Flow ForecastingProfitable businesses run out of cash. Build a thirteen-week forecast on your own numbers.
Narrative Drafting: Your Elevator PitchThe version of your business that fits in ninety seconds and survives a stranger's first question.
Tax Strategy for Founders: The BuildThursday named what your position costs you. Friday builds the position you want instead, live, on your numbers.
Ownership & Community DevelopmentOwning the business is one layer. Owning the building, the block, and the system it runs inside is the next.
Leave with: a forecast, a pitch, and a number you can defend
Track 04 · Core Systems · Friday

Core Systems

"Is my business built to scale?"
Build It Live: MVP in Sixty MinutesSixty minutes, one build, everybody follows along. You come in with a problem and leave with something that runs. No slides.
AI Agents for OperationsAgents earn their keep on the work your team never gets to. What it costs to stand up, and where it breaks.
Leave with: something that runs when you get home

A closer look

Four rooms,
described honestly.

Bottleneck Diagnostic

You will not be taught anything in this room. You will be asked questions until the answer is uncomfortable. Every founder walks out with one sentence naming the constraint, and most of them have to cross out their first answer.

Build It Live: MVP in Sixty Minutes

One hour. One build. Everybody follows along on their own screen. Bring the thing you have been meaning to make and leave with a version of it that works.

Narrative Drafting: Your Elevator Pitch

You will explain this business a hundred more times this year. To a lender. To a buyer. To someone you are trying to hire. Most founders have a version that takes four minutes and loses the room in thirty seconds. You draft the ninety-second version in here, say it out loud, and get it cut down by someone who has heard thousands of them.

The Audience You Own

Three operators who built audiences they control, not audiences they rent. What they own, what it earns, and the one thing each would rebuild from scratch.

$500,000

Equity-free, handed over on Saturday morning.

Presented by Wells Fargo. Two years running. No equity taken, no repayment, no strings.

Semi-finals Friday evening. Finals Saturday at ten. You will be in the room.

Saturday morning

You leave with a plan,
and people who know
what's on it.

Saturday morning, before anyone heads to the airport. The last session of the three days is the one where you stop taking notes and start writing your own next ninety days.

One card · Five fields · Drafted in the room, carried into the community

Three days of input, narrowed to what you will actually do first. Not a wish list: a short, dated set of moves that fits the business you actually have.

You draft it sitting next to other builders working through the same thing, which is most of the point. You leave knowing what you are doing next and who else is doing something like it.

And it does not stay in Dallas. It carries into Good Soil HQ, where the community checks in around day 30, 60 and 90. Not to grade anyone, but so nobody is running their ninety days on their own.

Three days, a plan of your own, and people to run it with.

Straight answers

Before you ask.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Afterpay is available at checkout. Split your pass into interest-free instalments.

Is there a discount code?

Yes, ROOM100 takes $100 off a Primary Pass, bringing it to $399. Enter it in the promo field at checkout; it isn't applied automatically.

What's the difference between Primary and Premier?

Primary gets you all three days and all four tracks. Premier ($1,299) adds priority seating, the VIP lounge, curated networking, the Pre-Show with Chairman Jakes, full food and beverage, and parking.

Is this a conference or a workshop?

Both, on purpose. You'll sit in rooms with people who have built what you're building, and you'll sit in working rooms with your own numbers on the screen. Saturday converts the whole thing into a written, dated 90-day plan.

Can I still enter the $500K Fast Pitch?

No, the 2026 application window closed on 30 July. Winners have been selected. Semi-finals are Friday evening and finals are Saturday at ten. Your pass puts you in the room for it.

I'm not in Texas. Is it worth flying in?

More than half of attendees across the last two years came from across the US. The Irving Convention Center is twelve minutes from DFW International and 10 minutes from Dallas Love Field.

I'm not a "real" founder yet, I have a side business. Should I come?

Yes. The room is built for anyone building past a single paycheck: side businesses, practices, consultants, creators, people running two and three things at once. Sessions are sequenced by stage, not by revenue.
